Jennifer got a microwave egg bowl over the break and trained the girls so that they could have quick eggs on school mornings. I did not receive the training.
Today Kathleen was the first to use it. When she had mixed the egg and milk, she asked me to put it in the microwave for 2 minutes and one second.
Lucy immediately yelled that Kathleen was wrong. It was to be cooked for 1 minute 20 seconds.
Kathleen refused to back down. So Lucy left the kitchen. Simply because it was a round number, Lucy’s account sounded right to me. So I tried to reason with Kathleen.
Next thing, Lucy was yelling “Look, mommy wrote down how long it was supposed to be in the microwave.” She then returned to the kitchen with the below post-it.
The moral of this story: If you want your eggs cooked right get Lucy to do it. If you want a forged document, get someone else.
