As I prepared a bath for my children, Kathleen (age 4) ran out of the bathroom. I put Lucy (age 2) in the bath, then turned to look for Kathleen. She had not returned, so I shouted for her in a tone that let her know that I was serious. She came running down the hallway to me. “Sorry Dad, I was reading my Bible.”
Things my daughter is not able to do: read.
Things by daughter is VERY good at: finding excuses that are hard to criticize.
